My mentor Verrochio finally let me work on a painting after all these years of learning from him. Though I was only able to work on the one angel on the left, I think I left a good impression on Verrocchio... He said my figure was far superior to even his own. I think this is a real beginning for me and my career.. I finally feel like I am making progress and can complete works on my own and not as just an apprentice now.
